Desert, originally called Speed, is based on the American southwest. It uses a land base and the American Car, with asphalt roads and guard rails for ultra-fast courses.

Trackmania (2003)[]
Desert is introduced in this game along with Snow and Rally.
Trackmania Original[]
New blocks are added and falling in a hole or pit no longer causes you to lose control of your car. Square map base is now 30x30 instead of 32x32. Sunrise and Sunset mood added.
Trackmania United[]
New blocks and Night mood. Square map base is now 45x45. all other map bases are now hidden for forwards compatibility.
Trackmania United Forever[]
New blocks and water terrain.
Trackmania 2[]
American Car vehicle handling added for the 15th anniversary of Trackmania.
User created Title Pack "Trackmania One Speed" Is a faithful recreation of Desert in maniaplanet using valley as a base. The Title Pack adds new and previously hidden blocks. The Title pack also adds a remake of the platform gamemode which is not included by default in maniaplanet.

- Desert is the only environment to be showcased in the Betas and Demos for Trackmania (2003) and Trackmania Original
- The box art of Trackmania (2003) shows Desert with blocks that were never included in any of the games. The blocks were later recreated for the Trackmania One Title Pack.
