Trackmania DS is a game in the Trackmania series, and was released for the Nintendo DS.
Gameplay[]
The game offers gameplay similar to that of other Trackmania games. It features three single-player modes: Race, Platform and Puzzle, as well as three environments: Stadium, Desert and Rally. Playing on tracks in single-player mode earns players coppers which can be used to buy blocks, skins, and other tracks. The most coppers a player can earn is 1,048,575 coppers.
Players can also create their own tracks with the track-editor, which has over 300 blocks, including UFOs for Desert, and hot air balloons for Rally, both of which were never featured on the console versions. They can also have up to four friends play together in multiplayer mode. There is no online connectivity, though.
Sequel[]
In 2010 Trackmania DS was followed by a sequel, Trackmania Turbo (2010).
